SPLIT TABLE

A rectilinear form bisected by an implied oblique plane, the Split Table is a simple exploration of form and finish that yields surprisingly complex results. Individually the split table is a subtle play of reflection and shadow that expresses a profound weight and presence. When paired with another, the Split Table becomes more complex and can be aligned to highlight a common datum or rotated in opposing directions to create a dialogue between two similar, but not identical, pieces.
