Living room with Vincenzo de Cotiis table, custom sofa and side tables, Tai Ping wool-and-silk rug, and architectural stair with railing — Studio Collins Weir, City View San Francisco

To set a stage for the home’s one-of-a-kind sweeping views, which stretch over the North Bay to the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin headlands, the interiors are visually quiet, nuanced and anchored in modern interior design. Subtle details are distributed and manipulated throughout the residence such as the graphic repeat of the hand-knotted wool-and-silk area rug, which flows from the family and formal living room. The rug is designed by Studio Collins Weir and produced with Tai Ping carpets. Natural materials in textiles and upholstery including mohair, cashmere and spun silk and refined leathers, wools and linens cocoon visitors in comfort.
